In June 2008, Cadet Colton Showers competed successfully at a wrestling tournament at the United States Military Academy, West Point.
Joint SAR/EX with Group 2 in York, PA, on 26 JAN 2008. Seniors trained in incident management, geographical information systems and mission radio operations. Cadets trained to become ground team leaders and ground team members.

Fall 2010. Squadron 401 marched in the Penn State Homecoming Parade and the Williamsport Christmas Parade.
Summer 2010. Squadron 401 was color guard for Opening Day for the Williamsport Crosscutters and the State College Spikes. Squadron 401 marched in the Philipsburg Fourth of July Parade, and in August, in the televised Little League World Series Parade in Williamsport.

DEC 2009. Congratulations to our former squadron commander Capt Arnie Andresen who completed eight months' service in Iraq as a flight instructor at Kirkuk Regional Air Base.
TUE 13 OCT 2009. We are happy to welcome Major Jeff Hartmann to our squadron. Major Hartmann was a squadron commander in Butler, PA and CAP inspector general prior to moving to our area. He brings years of experience and is also the new vice principal of the Loyalsock High School.
